The Final Presidential Debate

October 25, 2016

Last Wednesday night Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton took the stage in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was the last chance for the two nominees to debate against each other before the election on November 8, 2016.

Highlights Of the Night

Trump refused to say if he would accept the results of the presidential election. He stated that he would let the American people know if he will accept the results on November 8th after the election results are made public. Clinton called Trump’s response “horrifying,” and accused him of  “talking down democracy.”

Clinton called Trump a “Puppet of Vladimir Putin,” and encouraged voters to not trust him with nuclear weapons for it could be dangerous to the country and the world. Trump responded to this by acting like a child and interjecting multiple times and saying “No you’re the puppet.”

The moderator stated that estimates show that both candidates plans to lower the national debt would actually raise it in return. Trump responded by saying “he would create an enormous amount of jobs and that he would create and economic machine,” and cared to add in that he would make America so great again that even Clinton would be proud to be an american. Clinton’s responded by saying “I will not add a penny to the national debt.”

The moment that came that caused the most stir on social media was when Trump interjected and called Clinton “Such a nasty woman.” People quickly took to social media to put their insight into what was said, but instead of being a negative most women went forth claiming they were a nasty woman and that they were proud to be one.

But Who Won The Debate

The winner of the debate comes down to your political views and who you think is best for the country.
