On Friday September 11, 2015 the Richland Northeast Cavaliers took to the field against the Spring Valley Vikings. The Cavaliers lost the game to the Vikings 15-14. The Cavaliers had numerous opportunities to win the game. However, the Cavaliers fell short in the end. With less than ten minutes left in the game the Cavaliers had the ball 4th and goal on the 1 ½ yard line, the Cavaliers fell to convert and Spring Valley took over with the ball. The Cavalier defense would get the Cavaliers the ball back. The Cavaliers would march the ball back down the field and miss a field goal slightly to the right with less than four minutes to go. The Cavaliers would lose a hard fought battle to the rival Vikings.
