The Lady Cavs had gone to the playoffs in February and played hard. They advanced to the playoffs when Junior, Kayla Brown shot a buzzer shot giving them a chance at winning the game for the Lady Cavs.

The team went all the way to the semi-finals in Augusta, Georgia and lost but still are regional champs. They plan to improve in the years ahead even with five of their seniors graduating and moving on past high school basketball.

Some accomplishments for the girls before and after the season are:

Dashia Jackson has hit the 1,000 point club and has been working to reach that goal since her freshman year and wore her uniform for the last time when she represented RNE in South Carolina Hoops Festival Senior All-Star Game.

Sharita Godfrey will be continuing her basketball career at Charleston Southern University.
