Community members share concerns about school district
About 15 parents and teachers gathered in the media center to share their input as Richland 2 searches for a new superintendent.
Last night, community members gathered at Richland Northeast High School for a meeting regarding Richland Two’s search for a new superintendent. They met with representatives from the district’s executive search firm, and attendees expressed their opinions on the school district. The Saber live-tweeted the event.

Attendees were given the opportunity to share their concerns.
The audience is now answering four questions regarding their opinion on the school district and what they think should be improved upon and considered as preparation for the superintendent search begins.

The district is taking these responses into account.

A goal is set for the hire of a new superintendent.
The district’s goal is to provide the board with a shortlist of potential candidates by June 12 and to hire a new superintendent by July 1.
