Through the usage of real flowers, the artists convey a unique aspect of each culture. The flowers are meticulously placed, ranging from roses to lilies to chrysanthemums.
The compositions are inspiring to passersby. Installation enjoyer Helen Yuu says, “It’s more than just emotional appeal, I think from a creativity and artistry standpoint it’s beautifully composed.”

In addition to the flowers, each display includes a plaque including the country’s name and information about the country that inspired each artist, as well as the artist’s information.
Michele Doucette says, “I came in here to walk around. Just seeing all of these has really been an education in itself, just going around and seeing a couple of different ones.”
According to the Pew Research Center, while a majority of people may have travelled outside the country in their lifetimes, 27% of people living in the US haven’t. This allows mall goers, who may be simply walking through, the opportunity to experience places they may never travel to in their lifetime.
Mary Ellen, a mallgoer, says “It makes me want to go to these places and experience their culture”
These displays weave the world into the halls of a mall, a unique experience not found in many other places.
“You can travel in different forms; you don’t have to be in a vehicle to travel, you can travel with your mind,” says Yuu.
