Friday the Cavs traveled to South Florence high school for the second round of the playoffs. They fell to the Bruins 50-20. Throughout the season the RNE football team set many new records such as setting the highest number of points scored not once, but twice. They broke the record first against A.C Flora by scoring 74 points. They did it again in the first round of playoffs against Bluffton with 88 points.
They ended their season 7-5 which is their best record since 2016.
“We did a lot of things for the Richland Northeast Community and you know I’m just happy that we got to do it and I was apart of the class that did it,” senior cornerback Pierre Patterson said.
