Both the boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Lugoff-Elgin to take on the Demons Jan. 24. The boys won the game 51-49 after being down at half-time 23-20. The boys were able to seal their victory by stopping the Demons offense, up by two points with 9 seconds lefts. They are currently 2-3 in region play.
The girls defeated Lugoff-Elgin 46-40. They were up 20-16 at halftime and were able to hold the Demons back from getting ahead. They are now 1-4 in region play.
