Solar eclipse passes over RNE

On April 8, several students and teachers gathered outside during 4th block to view a partial solar eclipse, which reached its peak at 3:10 p.m.

A solar eclipse, which occurs when the moon moves in front of the sun, is a rare astronomical phenomenon. In the Columbia area, the partial eclipse reached 76% coverage of the sun.
