On Dec. 13, the Richland Northeast Lady Cavaliers opened their season with a battle against the Westwood Redhawks, ultimately falling short with a final score of 44-39.
Senior Sasha Cebula contributed 17 points to the final score and sophomore La’Tia Ray kept the ball in the hands of the Lady Cavs with grabbing five total rebounds.
The Lady Cavs will take on the Spring Valley Vikings on December 17.
