Controversy over Clothes

Students come together to talk about the controversy over Dress Code.

Everyday, students come to RNE to learn and get a education for their lives after High school. They are required to wear a certain amount of clothing. Most students don’t mind the dress code, while other think,”We should dress how we feel like, it’s how we define ourselves by our clothing,” sophomore Natalie Pena said.

“Girls should not be objectified and that we shouldn’t have to dress according to how distracting boys are, they should just be able to keep their stuff in check.” – Kaleah Capers, Junior

Students at RNE feel that clothes are a way to separate themselves from society. They believe Dress code restricts them from expressing themselves. Students will express their feelings, and belief in clothing as they follow RNE’s dress code.
