Disappearance of RNE student launches local search

Three weeks pass with no word on her current location as authorities continue to look for the missing teen.

Local reports of a missing Richland Northeast High School student were published last week as the Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigates her three-week disappearance.

On Sunday, Sep. 17, Mishalee Morales was last seen wearing a black hoodie on Ranch Road in the northeast Columbia area off of Decker Blvd., deputies say. She was also reported to have been wearing a belly chain, wooden cross necklace, and blue eye contacts.

No details have been made public as to whether or not foul play was involved.

If you have any information about her whereabouts, please contact the Sheriff’s Department at 888-274-6372.
